Ingredients list for Mixed Sprouts In Fish Curry
- 250 grams Mixed Sprouts (moong,moth, chana)
- 1/2 cup Fresh Cococnut scraped
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 2 inch pieces Ginger
- 15 cloves Garlic
- 2 teaspoons Roasted cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon Roasted coriander seeds
- 6 Dried red chillies
- 2 medium Onions chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 Green chilli
- to taste Salt
- 2 tablespoons Tamarind pulp
Method
- Chop onions.
Heat oil in a non stick pan. - Roughly chop ginger and garlic and put in a mixer jar.
Add cumin seeds, coriander seeds, red chillies, coconut and a little water and grind to a smooth paste. - Add onions to the pan and sauté till lightly browned.
Add mixed sprouts and mix. - Add 1 cup water, turmeric powder and mix.
Break green chilli and add, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. - Add ground masala and mix.
Add salt, tamarind pulp and mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes. - Serve hot with steamed rice.
