Ingredients list for Millet Munchies
- 3 cups Millet
- 1/2 cup Gram Flour
- 1/2 cup Rice flour
- 1/2 cup Refined flour (maida)
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 cup Yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Asafoetida
- 1 tablespoon Cumin seeds crushed
- 1 tablespoons Sesame seeds (til) roasted
- 4 tablespo Oil
Method
- In a large plate sieve all the flours along with salt. Add yogurt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, cumin seeds, sesame seeds and four tablespoons of oil.
- Mix well and knead this mixture into a semi soft dough using a little water. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Fill the dough into a chakri press and drop desired shapes in sufficient hot oil and fry on medium heat till golden crisp. Drain and store in airtight jars.
