Ingredients list for Meethe Chawal
- 2 cups Basmati rice wash and pat dry
 - 1 1/2 cups Sugar
 - 1/2 tablespoon Ghee
 - 3-4 Green cardamoms
 - 1 Black cardamom
 - 6-7 Cloves
 - 1 inch stick Cinnamon
 - 7-8 Black peppercorns
 - 1 tablespoon Almonds chopped
 - 10 Almonds blanched and peeled
 - 1 tablespoon Cashewnuts chopped
 - 4 cups Carrot juice
 - 4 cups Orange juice
 - a pinch Saffron (kesar)
 
Method
- Heat ghee in rice cooker. Add green cardamoms, black cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and peppercorns and sauté for 1 minute.
 - Add chopped almonds, blanched almonds, cashewnuts and rice and mix lightly.

 - Add saffron, cover and cook till ½ done.Add sugar and mix well. Cover and cook till fully done. Serve hot.
