Ingredients list for Matar Paneer Tikki
- 200 grams Cottage cheese (paneer) grated
- 100 grams Green peas
- 2 medium Potatoes boiled and mashed
- 1 small Onion chopped
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste
- 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon Amchur powder
- 3 teaspoons Cornflour
- 2 tablespoons Criander leaves chopped
- 1/2 cup Semolina
- for shallow frying Oil
Method
- In a bowl, add grated paneer, green peas, potatoes, onions, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric, garam masala, amchur powder, corn flour and corainder and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into equal potions and shape them into tikkis.
- Heat oil in a non stick pan and shallow fry the tikkis till golden brown till golden brown.
- Serve hot with green chutney.
