Ingredients list for Matar Macaroni Malai

  • 1 cup Green peas shelled and blanched
  • 100 grams Macaroni
  • 1 cup Fresh cream
  • to taste Salt
  • 4 tablespoons Oil
  • 2 medium Onions sliced thinly
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 cup Tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves
  • 100 grams Cheese grated

Method

  1. Bring two cups of water to a boil in a pan. Add one teaspoon of salt and one tablespoon of oil. Add macaroni and cook till it is three fourth done.
  2. Drain in a colander and rinse under running water. Set aside to drain completely. Apply one tablespoon of oil so that macaroni does not stick together.
