Ingredients
- 1 cup raw peanuts
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- Black salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 3 tablespoons gram flour
- 2 tablespoons cornflour
- 2 tablespoons rice flour
- Salt to taste
- Oil to deep fry
Method
- Take peanuts in a bowl, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, black salt, chaat masala, ginger-garlic paste and 1 tablespoon water and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Mix together gram flour, cornflour, rice flour and salt in another bowl.
- Dust the peanut mixture with 2-3 tablespoons of the flour mixture and mix well. Sift the peanuts to remove the excess flour mixture.
- Add the peanuts to the hot oil and deep-fry till crisp and golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Cool down to room temperature.
- Serve or store in an airtight container.
