Ingredients list for Masala Nuts
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
- 1/4 cup Almonds
- 1/4 cup Cashewnuts
- for deep-frying Oil
- 1 teaspoon Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- to taste Salt
Method
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Deep-fry almonds and cashewnuts individually on medium heat till golden and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.
- To prepare spice mix, combine castor sugar, garlic powder, chilli powder, onion powder, chaat masala and salt in a bowl and mix well.
- Sprinkle some spice mixture over warm fried nuts and mix well. Set aside to cool.
- Serve or store in an airtight container.
