By Sanjeev Kapoor 26 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Tea leaves, Green cardamoms Cuisine Indian Course Beverages Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Masala Chai 2 tablespoons Tea leaves 8-10 Green cardamoms 1/2 inch Cinnamon 5-6 Cloves 5-6 Black peppercorns 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds 1/2 inch Ginger 4 tablespoons Sugar 1 cup Milk Method Put green cardamoms, cinnamon, cloves, black peppercorns and fennel seeds in a mixer jar and grind to a fine powder. Crush ginger in a mortar with a pestle. Heat 2 cups water in a pan till it comes to a boil, add tea leaves, crushed ginger, sugar and 1 teaspoon ground masala, mix well and let it boil for 3-4 minutes.
