Ingredients
- 2 tbsps tea leaves (chai patti)
- 8 - 10 green cardamoms
- ½ inch cinnamon stick
- 5 - 6 cloves
- 5 - 6 black peppercorns
- 1 tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
- ½ inch ginger
- 4 tbsps sugar
- 1 cup milk
Method
- Take mixer jar add green cardamom, cinnamon, fennel seed, black peppercorn, cloves, And blend into fine powder. Keep aside.
- Crush ginger in motor pestle
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a deep pan. Add the tea leaves and crushed ginger and mix well. Add sugar and 1 tsp of the blended powder and mix well. Bring this to a boil.
- Add milk, mix and let the tea come to a boil.
- Strain the tea into serving glasses and serve hot.
