Ingredients list for Gingerbread Christmas Tree - skk
- 175 grams Refined flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Dried ginger powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons Castor sugar
- 1/2 cup Butter melted
- 3-4 tablespoons Golden syrup
- to garnish White chocolate melted
- to garnish Colourful sprinklers
Method
- Preheat oven to 180° C.
- Take refined flour in a mixing bowl, add baking soda, ginger powder, green cardamom powder and castor sugar and mix well.
- Add butter and mix with a spoon. Add golden syrup and mix with fingertips to form a dough.
- Dust flour on worktop and roll out the dough.
- Cut out Christmas trees with a Christmas tree shaped cookie cutter.
- Grease a baking tray and dust it with some dry flour. Place the cookies on it, place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Place the cookies on a serving platter. Put the melted white chocolate in a piping bag and pipe out on the cookies in a zig-zag design, Sprinkle colourful sprinklers over them and serve.
