Ingredients list for Lauki ki Kheer - SK Khazana
- 1 Medium bottle gourd peeled and grated
- 2 tablespoons Ghee
- 2 cups Milk
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Khoya / mawa grated
- 1 tablespoon Chironji
- 1 tablespo to garnish Pistachios slivered
- 1 tablespo to garnish Almonds slivered
- 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add grated lauki and sauté for 4-5 minutes.
- Add milk and mix well. Add sugar and mix well. Cover and cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes.
- Add khoya and chironji and mix well and cook till khoya blends well with the milk-bottle gourd mixture.
- Add pistachios and almonds and mix well. Add green cardamom powder, mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Transfer into a serving bowl. Garnish with pistachios and almonds and serve hot or cold.
