Ingredients list for Lasoon Kakdi Magaz Ki Kheer
- 10-12 cloves Garlic
- 1/4 cup Cucumber seeds
- 1 tablespoon Alum
- 3 cups Milk
- 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 1 cup Sugar
- 50 grams Paneer (cottage cheese) cut into small cubes
- 2 tablespoons Almonds sliced
- 2 tablespoons Raisins
- 2 tablespoons Pistachios chopped
Method
- Peel garlic cloves and boil them in 1 cup water and alum till garlic looses its flavour.
- Drain and rinse in cold water and place them on absorbent paper. Chop them and set aside.
- Heat milk with green cardamom powder in a deep non stick pan.
- When it comes to a boil, add kakdi magaz and simmer till milk reduces and becomes slightly thick.
- Add garlic and sugar and stir till sugar dissolves. Simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
- Pour into a serving bowls and serve garnished with paneer cubes, almonds, raisins and pistachios.
