By Sanjeev Kapoor 26 Mar 2021 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Puffed rice (kurmura), Oil Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 3 cups puffed rice (kurmura) 3 tablespoons oil ½ cup raw peanuts with skin ½ teaspoon mustard seeds 2 green chillies 2 sprigs of curry leaves ½ teaspoon turmeric powder Salt to taste ½ teaspoon powdered sugar ¼ cup roasted chana dal (daalia) Method Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan and add peanuts. Sauté till golden brown on medium heat. Add mustard seeds, break and add green chillies, curry leaves and continue to sauté on low heat for 2-3 minutes. Add turmeric powder and salt. Mix well. Add powdered sugar, roasted chana dal and kurmura. Mix well. Cook on low heat for 5-6 minutes. Allow it to cool down.
