Ingredients
- 35-40 Button mushrooms, trimmed
- 1 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 inch cinnamon stick
- 3 green cardamoms
- 34 cloves
- 1-2 black cardamoms
- A pinch of mace powder
- 2/3 cups boiled onion paste
- 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic paste
- 1 1/2 tablespoons ginger paste
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 teaspoons coriander-cumin powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 3 tablespoons cashewnut paste
- Salt to taste
- 1 green chilli, chopped
- 1 cup yogurt, whisked
Method
- Halve mushrooms.
- Heat oil in a non stick pan, add cinnamon, green cardamoms, cloves, black cardamoms, mace and onion paste, mix and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add garlic and ginger pastes, mix and add bay leaf. Add coriander-cumin powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix well and sauté for 1 minute.
- Serve hot.
