Ingredients list for Indian Style Chicken Wings
- 8-10 Chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste
- 3 tablespoons Thick yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- to taste Salt
- ½ Egg beaten
- 1 tablespoon Refined flour (maida)
- 1 tablespoon Cornflour/ corn starch
- for deep-frying Oil
Method
- Put ginger-garlic paste in a bowl, add yogurt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and salt and mix well.
- Add chicken wings and rub the marinade well over them. Set aside in a refrigerator to marinate for an hour.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Add egg, refined flour and cornflour to the marinated chicken wings and mix well.
- Gently slide them into the hot oil, a few at a time, and deep-fry till crisp and brown all over. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Arrange on a serving plate and serve hot.
