By Sanjeev Kapoor 14 Mar 2020 in Recipes Non Veg New Update Main Ingredients Medium pomfrets, Onions Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Seafood Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Indian Fish Curry - SK Khazana 2 Medium pomfrets cut into darnes 2 tablespoons Onions finely chopped 4-5 Dried red chillies 1/2 cup Fresh coconut scraped to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 tablespoon Coconut oil 1/2 teaspoon Ginger chopped 1 tablespoon Tamarind pulp to garnish Fresh coriander sprig Method Put 1 tbsp chopped onion, red chillies, coconut and a little water in a grinder jar and grind to a fine paste. Take fish darnes in a bowl, add salt and turmeric powder and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 10 minutes. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add ginger and remaining onion, mix and sauté till golden brown. Add ground paste, mix well and saute for 1-2 minutes. Add 2 cups of water and mix well. Let the mixture come to a boil. Add tamarind pulp and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add the fish pieces and mix lightly. Cook for 5-6 minutes on medium heat.
