Ingredients list for Hot Chilli Basil Fish
- 2 Fish fillets boneless
- 2-3 Dried red chillies
- 8-9 Fresh basil leaves
- to taste Salt
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- 2 teaspoons Garlic chopped
- 3 teaspoons Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 inch Ginger cut into juliennes
Method
- Preheat oven at 180ºC.
- Take fish fillets on a plate. Sprinkle salt and crushed peppercorns on top and rub well. Place on a baking plate and set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
- To make second marinade, combine garlic, salt, crushed peppercorns, soy sauce and oil in a bowl and mix well.
- Drizzle second marinade on the fish and spread evenly. Arrange basil leaves and broken red chillies on top. Top with ginger juliennes.
- Put the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
