Ingredients for Honey Toasted Cheese With Sesame Seeds Recipe

  • Cottage Cheese 600 grams

  • Sesame Seeds 2

  • Tomatoes 3 medium

  • Onion 1 large

  • Sesame seeds (til) 2 teaspoons

  • Spring onion greens a few

  • Butter 1 tablespoon

  • Oil 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic paste 1 teaspoon

  • Tomato puree 2 tablespoons

  • Cashewnut paste 1 tablespoon

  • Tomato ketchup 2 tablespoons

  • Soy sauce 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • MSG 1/4 teaspoon

  • Honey 1 tablespoon


Step 1

Cut paneer in cubes in three by two centimeter size. Wash, remove stem and finely chop green chillies.

Step 2

Wash and cut tomatoes into three centimeter cubes. Peel, wash and cut onions into three centimeter cubes.

Step 3

Lightly roast sesame seeds on a griddle. Wash and chop spring onion greens for garnish.

Step 4

Heat butter in a pan with some oil to avoid burning of butter. Fry paneer cubes on both sides in the pan till golden brown.

Step 5

Remove paneer on a kitchen towel or absorbent paper. In the remaining oil add onion cubes, garlic paste and sauté for a while.

Step 6

Add tomato cubes and tomato puree. Stir and cook for a while. Add cashewnut paste and tomato ketchup.

Step 7

Add chopped green chillies saving one teaspoon for the garnish and soy sauce.

Step 8

Season with salt and ajinomoto. Now add paneer to this mixture and mix well.

Step 9

Mix honey with water and add it to the dish. Finish off with roasted sesame seeds. Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and the remaining chopped green chillies.
