Ingredients list for Honey Garlic Chicken - SK Khazana

  • 400 grams Boneless chicken cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 2-3 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tablespo to deep fry Oil
  • 1 Medium onion cubed and layers separated
  • 1 Medium green capsicum diced
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • 1 tablespoon White sesame seeds roasted
  • 1 1/2 cups Chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • to taste White pepper powder
  • 1 tablespoon Cornflour slurry
  • for garnishing Spring onion greens sliced


  1. Put chicken pieces in a bowl. Add cornflour, salt and egg and mix well.
  2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry chicken pieces till crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a non-stick wok. Add garlic, onion, capsicum, chilli flakes and sesame seeds, mix and sauté for a minute.
  4. Add ½ cup chicken stock and soy sauce, mix and cook for a minute. Add remaining chicken stock, pepper powder and salt, mix and simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Add fried chicken pieces, cornflour slurry and honey, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.
