Ingredients list for Honey Chilli Paneer
- 2 tablespoons Cottage cheese
- 2 teaspoons Honey
- 1 tablespoon Red chilli flakes
- 250 grams Paneer (cottage cheese)
- 4 tablespoons Oil
- 2 medium Onions
- 2 medium Green capsicums
- to taste Salt
- 5-6 cloves Garlic chopped
- 1 teaspoon Ginger paste
- 2 tablespoons Sweet chilli sauce
- 3 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch mixed with 4 tbsps water
- 2 teaspoons Vinegar
Method
- Heat a sizzler plate. Cut capsicum into thick strips and onion into thick slices.
- Heat 2 tbsps oil in a non stick wok. Cut paneer into thick rectangles.
- Add onion, capsicum and salt to the wok and sauté, tossing, for 2-3 minutes. Transfer into a bowl.
- Heat 2 tbsps oil in the same wok, add garlic and ginger paste and sauté. Add sweet chilli sauce, chilli paste and salt and mix. Add ½ cup water and mix. Add cornflour mixture and mix and cook till the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add paneer pieces and mix gently. Add chilli flakes and 1 tbsp honey and mix. Add vinegar and mix again. Add salt and mix.
- Place the sizzler plate on the wooden base. Spread the capsicum-onion mixture on the base.
- Top with Honey Chilli Paneer. Drizzle remaining honey over it and serve immediately.
