Finely chop the spring onion bulbs. Add asafoetida and mustard seeds to hot oil and when mustard seeds splutter, add onions and sauté till light golden. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and sauté. Add green chillies and sauté lightly. Add gram flour and sauté. Finely chop spring onion greens and add and sauté. Add coconut and cook for a couple of minutes.
