Ingredients list for Hare Pyaaz Ki Subzi
- 5 Spring Onions With Greens
- 4 tablespoons Gram Flour
- 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- to taste Salt
- 2-3 Green chillies, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons Gram flour (besan)
- 1/2 cup Scraped coconut
Method
- Heat mustard oil in a non-stick kadai. Finely chop the spring onion bulbs.
- Add asafoetida and mustard seeds to hot oil and when mustard seeds splutter, add onions and sauté till light golden.
- Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and sauté.
- Add green chillies and sauté lightly. Add gram flour and sauté.
- Finely chop spring onion greens and add and sauté.
- Add coconut and cook for a couple of minutes.
Serve hot.
