Ingredients for Hare Pyaaz Ki Subzi Recipe

  • Spring Onions With Greens 5

  • Gram Flour 4 tablespoons

  • Asafoetida 1/4 teaspoon

  • Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon

  • Coriander powder 1 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Green chillies, finely chopped 2-3

  • Gram flour (besan) 3 tablespoons

  • Scraped coconut 1/2 cup


Step 1

Heat mustard oil in a non-stick kadai. Finely chop the spring onion bulbs.

Step 2

Add asafoetida and mustard seeds to hot oil and when mustard seeds splutter, add onions and sauté till light golden.

Step 3

Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and sauté.

Step 4

Add green chillies and sauté lightly. Add gram flour and sauté.

Step 5

Finely chop spring onion greens and add and sauté.

Step 6

Add coconut and cook for a couple of minutes. Serve hot.
