Hara Bhara Paratha By Sanjeev Kapoor 29 Nov 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients For Dough, Whole wheat flour Cuisine Fusion Course Breads Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Select Taste Level of Cooking Medium Others Veg Ingredients list for Hara Bhara Paratha For Dough 2 cups Whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon Asafoetida 1 tablespoon Black salt For Mixture 5-6 medium Potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed to taste Salt 1 teaspoon Black salt 1/2 cup Soya granules soaked in milk and drained 1/2 cup Onions finely chopped 1/2 cup Carrot grated 1/2 cup Cabbage grated 1 tablespoon Chaat masala 1 tablespoon Green chilies finely chopped 1/2 cup Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon Asafoetida for shallow frying Ghee Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida and green chilies. Add potatoes, salt and black salt. Add soya granules, onions, chaat masala, grated carrot, grated cabbage, chopped onion and fresh coriander leaves. Mix whole wheat flour, cumin seeds, asafoetida and black salt together with sufficient water in a bowl and knead into a soft dough. Divide the dough into small balls and roll them out into rotis. Place some of the potato mixture in the centre of each round roti and make a ball. Roll this again into a parantha. Similarly prepare the rest.
