Ingredients for Gur Pudhey With Ice Cream Recipe

  • Jaggery (gur) grated 1 cup

  • Milk 1/2 cup

  • Cinnamon powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Whole wheat flour (atta) 1 1/2 cups

  • Baking soda a pinch

  • Ghee to cook

  • Vanilla ice cream as required

  • Almonds chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Pistachios chopped 1 tablespoon

Method

Step 1

Heat milk in a non stick pan, add jaggery and cinnamon powder and heat lightly. Mix flour and soda and sieve.

Step 2

Add milk mixture to the flour and mix well to make a smooth batter.

Step 3

Heat ghee in another non stick pan, pour a ladle of batter and swirl the pan to spread evenly.

Step 4

Drizzle a little ghee all around and cook, turning sides, till cooked evenly on both sides.

Step 5

Transfer the pancakes onto serving plates, put some ice-cream over them.

Step 6

Cut it into two pieces and decorate with almonds and pistachios and serve.
