Ingredients list for Gur Pudhey With Ice Cream
- 1 cup Jaggery (gur) grated
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- 1 1/2 cups Whole wheat flour (atta)
- a pinch Baking soda
- to cook Ghee
- as required Vanilla ice cream
- 1 tablespoon Almonds chopped
- 1 tablespoon Pistachios chopped
Method
- Heat milk in a non stick pan, add jaggery and cinnamon powder and heat lightly. Mix flour and soda and sieve.
- Add milk mixture to the flour and mix well to make a smooth batter.
- Heat ghee in another non stick pan, pour a ladle of batter and swirl the pan to spread evenly.
- Drizzle a little ghee all around and cook, turning sides, till cooked evenly on both sides.
- Transfer the pancakes onto serving plates, put some ice-cream over them.
- Cut it into two pieces and decorate with almonds and pistachios and serve.
