Ingredients
- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 4 boiled eggs
- 8 triangle white bread slices, toasted
- Salt to taste
- 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
- Crushed black peppercorns to taste
- 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
- 1-2 fresh thyme sprigs
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- Mayonnaise as required
- Few iceberg lettuce leaves
- 2 medium tomatoes, cut into roundels
- 4 cheese slices
- French fries for serving
Method
- Put chicken breasts on a plate. Add salt, garlic, chilli flakes, crushed peppercorns, thyme leaves and Worcestershire sauce and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 5-10 minutes.
- Heat butter and olive oil in a non-stick grill pan. Place the marinated chicken breasts and cook from both sides till golden brown.
- Slice the grilled chicken breasts and boiled eggs.
- To prepare one sandwich, apply some mayonnaise on one side of two bread slice.
- Place 1-2 torn iceberg lettuce leaves, some grilled chicken slices, egg slices, 2-3 tomato roundels and one cheese slice on the mayonnaise side of bread slice, cover with another bread slice.
- Serve.
