Ingredients for Garlic Sev - SK Khazana Recipe

  • Gram flour (besan) 1 cup

  • Garlic powder 2 teaspoons

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Carom seeds (ajwain) 1 1/2 teaspoons

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil 1 tablespo to deep fry


Step 1

Knead together gram flour, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garlic powder, carom seeds, salt, 1 tablespoon oil and sufficient water to a stiff dough. Rest for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Grease a sev mould with some oil and fill in a portion of dough.

Step 3

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Press sev directly into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown. Drain on an absorbent paper.

Step 4

Cool and serve or store in an airtight container.
