Ingredients list for Fried Rice
- 3 cups Basmati rice , cooked
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 tablespoon Garlic , chopped
- 1 medium Carrot , chopped
- 2 tablespoons French beans , finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Button mushrooms , sliced
- 2-3 Spring onion bulbs , diagonally sliced
- 1 tablespoon Green capsicum , finely chopped
- to taste Salt
- to taste White pepper powder
- 2 teaspoons Soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons Spring onion greens , diagonally sliced
- 1 teaspoon Vinegar
- to serve Port wine
Method
- Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add carrot and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add French beans and sauté for 1 minute. Add button mushrooms and sauté for 1 minute. Add spring onion bulbs and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add green capsicum and sauté for 30 seconds. Add salt and white pepper powder and mix well.
- Add rice and mix. Add soy sauce and mix. Add 2 tablespoons spring onion greens and mix. Add vinegar and toss well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot with port wine.
