Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 4 slices of white bread
- Butter as required
- Chopped onion as required
- Chopped green chillies as required
- Freshly chopped coriander leaves as required
- Cheese slices
- Oil for drizzling
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder to taste
- Tomato ketchup to serve
Method
- Heat a non-stick tawa, for one portion, apply butter on a slice of bread and place them on tawa, sprinkle chopped onion, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander, and place a cheese slice. Cover and cook till cheese melts.
- Take it off the heat and transfer onto a serving plate. Set aside.
- Place a medium cookie cutter onto the same tawa, drizzle a little oil and break an egg into it, sprinkle salt, black pepper powder, green chillies and let the base cook completely.
- Remove the cookie cutter and place the egg on the prepared bread. Serve hot along with tomato ketchup.
