Ingredients list for Dahi Sandwich - SK Khazana

  • 1 Hung yogurt
  • 8 Whole wheat bread slices
  • 1/4 Corn kernels boiled
  • 1/2 Yellow capsicum chopped
  • 1/2 Red capsicum chopped
  • 1/2 Green capsicum chopped
  • 1/3 Cabbage finely shredded
  • 1 Carrot grated
  • to taste Black pepper powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • as required Butter
  • as required Processed cheese
  • to serve Tomato ketchup


  1. Take hung yogurt in a bowl, add corn kernels, yellow capsicum, red capsicum, green capsicum, cabbage, carrot, pepper powder, salt and chaat masala and mix well.
  2. For each sandwich, spread some of this mixture on one bread slice and cover with another slice. Heat butter on a non-stick tawa, place a sandwich on it and toast till the underside turns golden. Flip, drizzle some butter on the sides and cook till evenly golden on the other side. Toast the remaining sandwiches similarly.
  3. Halve each sandwich and place on a serving plate, grate some cheese over them, and serve with tomato ketchup.
