Ingredients list for Curd Chicken
- 2 cups Yogurt whisked
- 750 grams Chicken Cut into 12 pieces on the bone
- 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds (saunf)
- 3 medium Onions sliced
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 Green chilli slit
- 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
- 1/4 cup Cashewnut paste
- a pinch Saffron (kesar)
- to taste Salt
- 1 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 4 tablespoons Fresh cream
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add fennel seeds and onions and sauté till onions are golden.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilli, coriander powder and chicken pieces, mix well and sauté for four to five minutes.
- Add yogurt and cashew nut paste and mix well. Saute for eight to ten minutes.
- Add two cups of water, saffron and salt. Mix well and cook for five to six minutes.
- Add the cardamom powder and cream, mix well and cook for half a minute.
- Serve hot.
