Ingredients list for Crisp Sesame Lamb
- 350 grams Boneless lamb strips
- for garnishing Sesame seeds (til) 5 teaspoons +
- 4 tablespoons Rice flour
- 6 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch
- to taste Salt
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon Ginger chopped
- 2 teaspoons Garlic finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Fresh parsley chopped
- to deep fry Oil 2 teaspoons +
- for coating Bread crumbs
Method
- Take rice flour in a bowl. Add cornflour, salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well.
- Take lamb strips in another bowl. Add ginger, garlic, salt, crushed peppercorns and 3 teaspoons sesame seeds and mix well.
- Add flour mixture and mix well. Add parsley and mix again. Add 2 teaspoons oil and mix well. Set aside.
- Spread breadcrumbs on a plate. Add salt, crushed peppercorns and the remaining sesame seeds and mix well.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
- Coat the lamb pieces in the breadcrumb mixture, dust off the excess and deep-fry in hot oil on medium heat till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot garnished with sesame seeds.
