By Sanjeev Kapoor 05 Jul 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Refined flour (maida), Cornmeal Cuisine British, , , , Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 41-50 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Corn Waffles 1 1/4 cup Refined flour (maida) 3/4 cup Cornmeal 1/2 cup Fresh corn kernels 2 tablespoons Sugar to taste Salt 1/4 teaspoon Baking powder 1 1/2 cup Milk 1 Egg for greasing Oil for garnish Butter Method Preheat the waffle iron. In a mixing bowl, mix cornmeal, refined flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and corn kernels. Add egg and mix well. Add sufficient milk to make a semi-thick batter. Avoid adding all the milk together. Grease the waffle iron with oil, pour the batter, cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.
