Ingredients list for Corn Bhel
- 1 cup Fresh Corn kernels
- 1 large Onion finely chopped
- 1 large Tomato finely chopped
- 2 medium Potatoes boiled and cut into ½ inch cubes
- 2 teaspoons Chaat masala
- 3-4 Green chillies finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Green chutney
- 2 tablespoons Sweet date and tamarind chutney
- 4 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Lemon juice
- to taste Salt
- 1 cup Corn flakes crushed
Method
- Bring three cups of water to a boil. Add the corn kernels and continue to boil for three to four minutes. Drain and remove excess water.
- This bhel can be made with hot or cold corn niblets. Mix corn kernels, onion, tomatoes, potatoes, chaat masala, green chillies, green chutney, sweet chutney and coriander leaves well. Add lemon juice, salt and mix.
- Divide into individual servings, sprinkle cornflakes and serve immediately.
