By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Oct 2018 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Idlis, Green chillies Cuisine Fusion Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Chilli Idli-SK Khazana 10-15 Idlis quartered 2-3 Green chillies finely chopped 2 tablespoons Cornflour 1/2 tables to deep fry Oil 1 tablespoon Garlic chopped 1/2 tablespoon Ginger chopped 1 Small onion quartered and layers separated 1 Small red capsicum cut into squares 1 Small yellow capsicum cut into squares 1 tablespoon Soy sauce 1 tablespoon Red chilli sauce 3/4 cup Vegetable stock to taste Salt to taste Black peppercorns crushed 1 sprigs Cornflour slurry for garnish Spring onion greens diagonally sliced Method Heat sufficient oil in kadai. Take idli pieces in a bowl, add cornflour and mix well. Deep-fry the idli pieces till lightly brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic, ginger and green chillies and sauté till fragrant. Add onions, red and yellow capsicums, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add soy sauce and chilli sauce and mix well. Add stock, mix and bring to a boil. Add salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well. Add cornflour slurry and mix well. Add fried idli pieces, mix well and cook for a minute.
