Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Ingredients for Chicken Shaslik-SK Khazana Recipe

  • Boneless chicken cut into 1 inch cubes 250 grams

  • Large onion cut into 1 inch cubes and layers separated 1

  • Large red capsicum cut into 1 inch squares 1

  • Large green capsicum cut into 1 inch squares 1

  • Turmeric powder 1 tablespoon

  • Coriander powder 1 tablespoon

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • White pepper powder to taste

  • Soy sauce 1/2 tablespoon

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Fresh cream 1/2 cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil for cooking

  • Onion rings to serve

  • Lemon wedges to serve


Step 1

Mix together turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, pepper powder, soy sauce, lemon juice, cream and salt in a bowl.

Step 2

Add chicken, onion, red and green capsicum and mix well. Skewer alternatively onto satay sticks.

Step 3

Heat some oil on a non-stick tawa. Place the sticks on it and cook, rotating them, till chicken is evenly cooked all around.

Step 4

Serve hot with onion rings and lemon wedges.
