Be a kid or a teenage or an adult or an oldie, chicken lovers trend all over the world at all times! One meat that is a favourite of all beyond belief! When cooked, it can be presented in many guises. Sauté it, fry it, toss it, bake it, steam it – eat it the way you want to. Whatever its form may be upon being cooked, its flavour may change but its flesh remains high in protein, low in fat and can be digested easily.

Prep Time : 1.30-2 hour

Cook time : 16-20 minutes

Serve : 4

Ingredients for Chicken Liver Masala Recipe

  • Chicken liver 1 kilogram

  • Yogurt 100 grams

  • Red chilli powder 2 teaspoons

  • Cumin-coriander powder 2 teaspoons

  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoons

  • Garam masala powder 2 teaspoons

  • Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil 2 tablespoons

Method

Step 1

Marinate chicken liver with yogurt, red chilli powder, cumin coriander powder, half of the ginger-garlic paste, garam masala powder, black pepper powder, salt. Set aside for two hours.

Step 2

Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for two minutes.

Step 3

Add tomato paste and sauté for two to three minutes.

Step 4

Add marinated chicken liver. Sauté and cook for fifteen to twenty minutes. Check the seasonings.

Step 5

Serve hot with roti.
