Ingredients list for Chicken Bao - SK Khazana
- 150 grams Boneless chicken cut into 1 inch pieces
- 8-12 Baos
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped
- 1/2 tablespoon Ginger finely chopped
- `1-2 Fresh red chiullies finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons Spring onion greens chopped
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black peppercorns crushed
- 1 tablespoon Dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Oyster sau ce
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- as required Cabbage shredded
- as required Carrot strips
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic, ginger and red chillies, mix and sauté for a minute.
- Add spring onion greens and mix well. Add chicken pieces and mix.
- Add salt, crushed peppercorns, soy sauce and oyster sauce, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add some water and mix. Add honey, mix well and cook till the chicken is fully done.
- Stuff baos with some cabbage, some carrot strips, a cooked chicken piece and some cucumber slices.
- Garnish with coriander sprigs and serve immediately.
