Ingredients for Cheesy Masala Sausage Egg Roll Recipe

  • Processed cheese grated 5 tablespoons

  • Chicken sausages 8

  • Eggs 6

  • Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder a pinch

  • Asafoetida a pinch

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Salt to taste

  • White bread slices 8

  • Oil for shallow frying


Step 1

Mix together cheese, chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, coriander leaves and salt in a bowl. Break the eggs into the bowl and mix well.

Step 2

Discard the edges of bread slices and flatten with the help of a rolling pin. Place a sausage on one end and roll tightly.

Step 3

Heat some oil in a non-stick pan.

Step 4

Dip the bread-sausage rolls in egg mixture and shallow-fry in hot oil till golden. Drain on absorbent paper.

Step 5

Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
