  • 4-5 slices Bread slices
  • 1/2 cup Green peas
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 15-20 Raisins
  • 10-12 Cashewnuts

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Boil green peas and make a puree of it.
  2. Heat butter in a pan and sauté the puree for three to four minutes. Keep aside. Arrange the bread slices at the base of a baking dish. In a bowl mix eggs, sugar and peas puree. Add milk and mix again.
  3. Pour this mixture over the bread slices. Sprinkle raisins, cashewnuts and press a little.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for thirty to forty minutes.
