You can’t eat breakfast at night or dinner in the afternoon – but snacks? that you can eat anytime of the day! Ingredients for Bajra Methi Dhebra Recipe

  • Pearl millet (bajra) flour 1 cup

  • Fresh fenugreek leaves 1/2 cup

  • Whole wheat flour (atta) 1/2 cup

  • Gram flour (besan) 2 tablespoons

  • Green chilli finely chopped 1

  • Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • White sesame seeds (safed til) roasted 1 tablespoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Yogurt 1/4 cup + to serve

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil for drizzl + for greasing

Method

Step 1

Knead together pearl millet flour, fenugreek leaves, wheat flour, gram flour, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, sesame seeds, turmeric powder, chilli powder, yogurt and salt with water as required to a soft dough.

Step 2

Grease your palms with some oil and divide the dough into equal portions. Roll out into medium size thin discs.

Step 3

Heat a non-stick tawa. Place each disc on it and cook till the underside turns golden brown. Flip, drizzle some oil and cook till the other side is golden brown too.

Step 4

Serve hot with yogurt.
