Ingredients list for Bajra Methi Dhebra
- 1 cup Pearl millet (bajra) flour
- 1/2 cup Fresh fenugreek leaves
- 1/2 cup Whole wheat flour (atta)
- 2 tablespoons Gram flour (besan)
- 1 Green chilli finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon White sesame seeds (safed til) roasted
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/4 cup + to serve Yogurt
- to taste Salt
- for drizzl + for greasing Oil
Method
- Knead together pearl millet flour, fenugreek leaves, wheat flour, gram flour, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, sesame seeds, turmeric powder, chilli powder, yogurt and salt with water as required to a soft dough.
- Grease your palms with some oil and divide the dough into equal portions. Roll out into medium size thin discs.
- Heat a non-stick tawa. Place each disc on it and cook till the underside turns golden brown. Flip, drizzle some oil and cook till the other side is golden brown too.
- Serve hot with yogurt.
