Ingredients list for Bajra Atta Halwa
- 3 tablespoons Bajra flour
- 1 tablespoon Ghee
- 3-4 Walnuts chopped
- 1 teaspoon Dried ginger powder (soonth)
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- 1/2 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
- 1/2 cup Desiccated coconut
- 3/4 cup Jaggery (gur) grated
- 1 cup Basmati rice cooked
- 1 1/2 cups Milk
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add walnuts and sauté for 30 seconds. Add pearl millet flour, mix and cook on low heat for a minute.
- Add dried ginger powder, crushed peppercorns, cardamom powder, desiccated coconut and jaggery, mix and cook till jaggery melts.
- Add cooked India Gate Basmati Rice, mix and cook for a minute. Add milk, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Serve hot.
