By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Jul 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Potatoes, Cornflour/ corn starch Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Aloo Bhalle - SK Khazana 4 medium Potatoes blanched, peeled and mashed 2 tablespoons Cornflour/ corn starch 1 tablespoon Coriander seeds crushed 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder to taste Salt Oil for greasing + for shallow frying to serve Green chutney to serve Sweet tamarind chutney as required Chaat masala powder Method Take mashed potatoes in a bowl, add cornflour, coriander seeds, red chilli powder and salt and mix well. Grease your palms with oil, divide the mixture into 4 equal portions, and shape each of them into a tikki. Heat sufficient oil in a non-stick pan, place the tikkis in it and shallow-fry on medium heat, turning sides and pressing lightly, till evenly golden crisp on both sides. Drain on absorbent paper. Place each bhalla on individual serving plates and crush them lightly. Drizzle green chutney and sweet tamarind chutney and sprinkle chaat masala powder.
