Ingredients list for Thepla Tacos

  • 8 Theplas
  • 1 Small carrot
  • 120 grams Iceberg lettuce leaves
  • 2 Medium potatoes boiled and peeled
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Chaat masala
  • 1 Lemon
  • for drizzling Chhunda
  • to garnish Nylon sev
  • to garnish Fresh coriander leaves chopped

Method

  1. Thinly slice the carrot and then cut into thin strips and put into a bowl. Shred iceberg lettuce leaves and add to the same bowl. Cut potatoes into sticks and add to the same bowl.
  2. Add red chilli powder, salt, chaat masala and squeeze the juice of lemon and mix well.
  3. Take each thepla, place a portion of the vegetable mixture in the centre and drizzle chhunda and on top. Place them on a taco stand.
  4. Sprinkle sev and coriander leaves on top and serve immediately.
