Sprouted Beans Kadhi Sprouted moong and kala chana make this kadhi more interesting By Sanjeev Kapoor 25 Nov 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Sprouted Green gram, Sprouted black Bengal gram (kala chana) Cuisine Maharashtrian Course Dals and Kadhis Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Sprouted Beans Kadhi 1/2 cup Sprouted Green gram boiled 1/2 cup Sprouted black Bengal gram (kala chana) sprouted 1/2 kilogram Yogurt 4 tablespoons Gram flour (besan) 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder to taste Salt to taste Black pepper powder 2 tablespoons Butter 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds 2-3 Whole dry red chillies stemmed a pinch Asafoetida 1 medium Onion chopped 1 teaspoon Ginger paste 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1 tablespoon Tomato sauce 2 Green chillies chopped 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 teaspoon Chaat masala Method In a large bowl mix together yogurt, besan, turmeric powder, salt, black pepper powder and four cups of water and mix well. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, dry red chillies, hing, onion and ginger and saute till onion becomes translucent. Add the yogurt mixture and mix well. Bring it to boil stirring continuously.Add sprouted moong and sprouted kala chana and cook for ten to fifteen minutes on low heat. Add tomato sauce, green chillies and coriander leaves and cook for more two to three minutes.
