By Sanjeev Kapoor 23 Jul 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Potato, Almonds Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 21-25 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Safed Aloo - SK Khazana 4 Potato medium, boiled and peeled 10-12 Almonds blanched and peeled 1 tablespoon Poppy seeds 3/4 cup Yogurt 1/2 cup Mawa Salt to taste 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder 2 tablespoons Oil 4 Dried button red chillies 2 teaspoons Ginger grated 1 tablespoon Lemon juice Fresh coriander sprigs for garnish Method Cut potatoes into ½ inch pieces and set aside. Put almonds and poppy seeds in a blender jar and blind to a fine powder. Take yogurt in a bowl, add almond-poppy seed powder, mawa, salt and green cardamom powder and mix well. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add button red chillies and ginger, mix and sauté for 1 minute. Add the potatoes, mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes on medium heat. Add the yogurt mixture and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes on medium heat. Add lemon juice and mix well.
