By Sanjeev Kapoor 06 Apr 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Long Penne Pasta, Gram Flour Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Pasta Pakodas 1 cup Long Penne Pasta boiled 1/2 cup Gram Flour grated 1 cup Gram flour (besan) 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder a pinch Baking soda to taste Salt to deep fry Oil to sprinkle Chaat masala Method Stuff each penne pasta with a little grated cheese with the help of a toothpick. Place gram flour in a bowl, add red chilli powder, baking soda and salt. Add sufficient water and mix to make a smooth batter. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Dip each penne in the batter till well coated. Gently slide into hot oil, in batches of three to four, and deep fry till crisp and brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle some chaat masala on the fried penne and serve hot with choice of sauce.
