Ingredients list for Parmesan Crusted Chicken

  • 300 grams Boneless chicken breasts cut into thin slices
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese powder
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 pinch Black peppercorns crushed
  • 3/4 cup Dried breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespo to garnish Fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 Eggs
  • to deep fry Oil
  • to serve Tartar sauce

Method

  1. Take chicken slices in a bowl, add garlic paste, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt and crushed black peppercorns, mix well and set aside to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan.
  3. Spread breadcrumbs in a plate, add parmesan cheese powder, salt and parsley and mix well with a light hand.
  4. Break eggs into a bowl, add salt and whisk well.
  5. Dip each marinated chicken piece in the egg mixture, coat with breadcrumbs- parmesan cheese mixture, slide into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  6. Arrange on a serving platter, garnish with parsley and serve hot with tartar sauce.
