By Sanjeev Kapoor 18 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Cottage cheese (paneer), Cabbage Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 26-30 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Paneer Lollipops 1 cup Cottage cheese (paneer) grated 1/4 cup + to serve Cabbage shredded 1/3 cup Carrots finely chopped 2 Medium potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed 1 tablespoon Lemon juicew to taste Salt to taste Black peppercorns crushed 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste 1 tablespoon Red chilli paste 1 tablespoon Cornflour 10-12 Breadsticks to deep fry Oil Batter 1/2 cup Refined flour to taste Salt to taste Black peppercorns crushed 1/2 cup Cornflour 1 tablespoon Red chilli paste Method Take cottage cheese in a bowl, add cabbage and carrots and mix well. Add potatoes and mix well. Add lemon juice, salt, crushed black peppercorns, ginger-garlic paste and red chilli paste and mix well. Add cornflour and mix. Divide the mixture into equal portions. Wrap each portion around a breadsticks and shape into a lollipop. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Mix together refined flour, salt, crushed black peppercorns, cornflour, red chilli paste and sufficient water and whisk to make a smooth and semi thick batter. Dip the lollipops in the batter, slide them into hot oil and deep-fry till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
