Ingredients list for Mango Sheera - SK Khazana

  • 1 Medium ripe mango peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup Semolina (rawa/suji)
  • 2-4 tablespoons Ghee
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 1/2 cups Milk
  • a large pi for garnishing Saffron
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  • 10-12 Pistachios blanched and peeled
  • a few Blanched pistachio slivered

Method

  1. Dry roast semolina for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Heat 3 tablespoons ghee in a non-stick pan. Add roasted semolina and mix. Add mango, salt, mix and cook for a minute.
  3. Add milk and mix. Add saffron, mix, cover and cook till the moisture dries.
  4. Add sugar, cardamom powder and pistachios, mix well, cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Drizzle 1 tablespoon ghee, mix well, cover and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Garnish with some saffron and pistachio slivers and serve.
