Kurkure Momos Chicken stuffed momos deep-fried and served with cheese sauce – what a delight to savour This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 23 Mar 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Chicken mince, Momo dough roundels Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Kurkure Momos 200 grams Chicken mince as required Momo dough roundels 1 Small onion finely chopped 1/2 Small carrot peeled and finely chopped 2 inches Celery stick finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon Dried mixed herbs to taste Black peppercorns crushed to taste Salt 1/2 teaspo to sprinkle Red chili flakes 1/2 teaspo to sprinkle Fried garlic as required Egg wash as required Cornflakes crushed to deep fry Oil to serve Cheese sauce to garnish Fresh coriander leaves chopped Method Take chicken mince in a bowl, add onion, carrot, celery, dried mixed herbs, black peppercorns, salt, red chilli flakes and garlic and mix well. Place some chicken mixture in the centre of each dough roundel, apply water on the edges, shape into momos and seal the edges. Take egg wash in a bowl, add salt and mix. Spread crushed cornflakes in a plate, add salt and crushed black peppercorns and mix. Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan. Dip each momo in egg and roll in the spiced cornflakes. Dip again in the egg and roll in the spiced cornflakes. Slide the momos into hot oil and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
