Ingredients list for Khasta Missi Roti
- 1 cup Gram Flour
- 1/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 small Onion chopped
- 1 Green chillies chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain)
- 1/2 teaspoon Ginger powder
- 1/4 cup Dry fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
Method
- In a large bowl combine together gram flour, whole wheat flour, onions, green chilli, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, carrom seeds, ginger powder, fenugreek and ½ cup water and knead a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll them into a circular chapati.
- Heat a non stick tawa and cook till golden brown on both the sides.
- Serve hot with dal.
